Wildlife World wildweb
Building on a history of reliable I.T. support, Currer Web Consulting is currently in the process of deploying a full order management system for Wildlife World, a growing supplier of wildlife products. This consists of a web-based system for the processing and accounting of products and orders, as well as a wireless mesh network and database server platform supporting a contingent of PC's and handheld barcode scanners for use throughout the warehousing and packing workflow. IBUK Agent Extranet
Extending the long-standing partnership between Currer Web Consulting and The Internet Bookshop UK, the Agent Extranet is a web-based extension to the internal systems of the Company which allows Agents of the bookshop to barcode scan inventory, with data downloaded from Amazon, and process orders from their own premises. The system is directly integrated with the Company database, and is supporting approximately 25 Agents turning over an inventory of several thousand books per week. Click here for more information...
West Country Vending Redundant Server System
As with many small/medium sized businesses in recent years, West Country Vending has become reliant on it's IT systems for primary business functions. After a major outage, Currer Web Consulting was drafted in to deploy a redundant server configuration. We prepared a disaster recovery strategy, and configured redundancy across sites so data is always backed up in near real-time over multiple locations. IBUK Intranet / Database
The IBUK Intranet is a web-based database system, supporting all the core business functions of Europes leading online used bookseller. Used by ~15 staff to process over 1000 orders per week with an inventory database record count rapidly approaching 1 million, the IBUK Intranet has grown with the Company under the continous support of Currer Web Consulting. Farsight Web Presence - www.farsight.co.uk
Farsight is a recognised market leader in the provision of professional security services, software development and remote video surveillance. Completed in 2004, this project consisted of producing a complete web site solution for Farsight. The finished article includes a database-driven news section, and is fully CSS-styled.
